Privacy Policy

Wind Call is designed to work offline-first. It does not require a Wind Call account. Most app features run locally on your device, and required environmental values can be entered manually.

Data collection

Wind Call does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contact details, photos, audio, advertising identifiers, device advertising IDs, user-generated content, or payment card details.

Wind Call may use approximate device location only for app functionality. If you choose to use the Meteo feature, your approximate location is used momentarily to request current temperature, humidity, and pressure from the weather provider. Wind Call does not store this location, and it is not sent to RevenueCat or used for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking.

Location may also be used locally on your device to calculate sun elevation for wind-related calculations. This location-derived calculation is not stored or transmitted by Wind Call.

If you contact support, you may voluntarily share information by email, such as your device model, app version, screenshots, a short video, and your Support Code. The Support Code is a pseudonymous app identifier that helps us check subscription status and troubleshoot purchase-related issues. It does not include your name, email address, payment card details, photos, audio, or advertising identifiers.

Device sensors and local processing

Wind Call may use device sensors and system-provided information locally to support calculations and on-screen features. This may include barometer, accelerometer, camera preview, date, time, and location-derived sun position. Camera use is a live visual aid; Wind Call does not capture, store, or upload photos or videos.

Third-party services

Subscriptions can be purchased only through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Payment processing is handled entirely by the respective store provider. We do not receive or store your payment details.

Wind Call uses RevenueCat to manage subscription status, verify entitlements, restore purchases, provide purchase-related support, and diagnose technical or subscription issues. RevenueCat may process a pseudonymous app user identifier and limited technical or subscription-related information, such as platform, app version, build number, locale or language setting, build mode, startup or purchase-flow state, installer source, entitlement state, selected plan, paywall source, and whether subscription data or offerings loaded successfully.

This information is used only for app functionality, subscription management, entitlement verification, purchase restore and support, fraud prevention or installer-source diagnostics, and aggregate product diagnostics. It is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

If you use the optional Meteo feature, approximate location is sent to the weather provider only to retrieve current temperature, humidity, and pressure for that request.

Website analytics

The windcall.app website may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns such as page views, referrers, and general country-level access patterns. This applies to the website only and not to the Wind Call mobile application. We do not use cookies for advertising or personal tracking.

Data deletion

Most app data remains on your device and can be removed by uninstalling the app.

Limited pseudonymous subscription, purchase, support, and technical records may remain in RevenueCat, Google Play, Apple App Store, weather-provider request logs, or email systems as needed for app functionality, subscription management, purchase restoration, fraud prevention, support, and legal compliance.
