Wind Call is designed to work fully offline. It was built to be useful in the field — and to respect your privacy. The app may optionally connect via Bluetooth to external sensors or access the internet to retrieve current atmospheric parameters for your location. These features are entirely optional. All required data can also be entered manually. Any connection requires explicit user action through a dedicated in-app control.
Data collection
Wind Call does not require an account, does not use trackers, and does not collect personal data. The app does not collect, store, or transmit your personal information outside your device. If you contact support, you may choose to share a Support Code via email. The Support Code is an anonymous identifier used solely to verify subscription status.
Device sensors and local processing
Wind Call may use device sensors and system-provided information (such as location, date, time, barometer, accelerometer, camera, etc.) locally to support calculations and on-screen overlays. This information is processed exclusively on your device and is neither stored nor transmitted externally.
Third-party services
Subscriptions can be purchased only through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Payment processing is handled entirely by the respective store provider. We do not receive or store your payment details.
Website analytics
The windcall.app website may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns such as page views, referrers, and general country-level location. This applies to the website only and not to the Wind Call mobile application. We do not use cookies for advertising or personal tracking.
Data deletion
Since Wind Call does not require user accounts and does not store personal data on external servers, all data remains on your device and can be removed by uninstalling the app.
Any support-related information (such as Support Code) shared via email can be deleted upon request.
