1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Wind Call mobile application and the windcall.app website. By installing, accessing, or using Wind Call, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Wind Call is provided by ALVI HOLZ LTD EOOD. In these Terms, “Wind Call”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the provider of the app and website.

2. What Wind Call provides

Wind Call is an observation-based wind-reading tool designed to help users estimate wind values by combining visual cues, atmospheric inputs, and various calculation models. The app may be used together with a separate ballistic solver or, where configured by the user, to produce direct wind holds.

Wind Call is an estimation and decision-support tool. It does not guarantee hits, safety outcomes, weather accuracy, or ballistic performance in real-world conditions.

3. Responsible and lawful use

You are solely responsible for how you use Wind Call and for any decisions you make based on its output. The decision whether to take a shot always rests solely with the shooter. Always follow applicable laws, firearm safety rules, range rules, hunting regulations, competition rules, and the instructions of qualified instructors or range officers.

Wind Call must not be used as a substitute for safe handling practices, proper training, independent verification, or sound judgment in the field.

4. Purchases, subscriptions, and trials

Wind Call may offer access to paid features through a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a lifetime purchase, depending on availability in your store and region.

The monthly subscription may include a free trial where available. After the trial period ends, the subscription renews automatically unless canceled through the applicable store before renewal. Subscription prices, billing periods, trial availability, taxes, and renewal terms are shown in the Google Play or Apple App Store purchase sheet before you confirm the purchase.

Deleting or uninstalling the app does not cancel an active subscription. Subscriptions must be managed or canceled through your Google Play account or Apple App Store account.

5. Payments, cancellations, and refunds

All purchases and payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Cancellations, refund requests, billing disputes, and store account issues are handled according to the rules and tools of the store where the purchase was made. Access to paid features may depend on successful receipt validation and may require an internet connection for purchase, restore, or subscription-status sync.

6. Accounts, restore purchases, and support code

Wind Call does not require a Wind Call user account or login. Paid access is associated with the store account used for the purchase and can be restored using the Restore Purchases option in the app.

If you contact support, you may choose to include your Support Code. The Support Code helps us verify subscription status and troubleshoot faster.

7. Optional services and connectivity

Wind Call is designed to work offline after installation. Some optional features, such as meteo retrieval, Bluetooth sensor connections, purchase verification, restore purchases, and website access, may require network, Bluetooth, device sensors, or location permissions.

Optional third-party services and platform services may be unavailable, delayed, inaccurate, or changed by their providers. You can manually enter required environmental values when optional retrieval is not used or unavailable.

8. Intellectual property

Wind Call, including its design, text, graphics, calculations, app logic, software, trademarks, and other content, is owned by us or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or create derivative works from the app except where permitted by law.

9. Privacy

Your use of Wind Call is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how the app and website handle data.

10. No warranty

Wind Call is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for personal injury, death, property damage, or other losses arising from your use of or inability to use Wind Call, including decisions made based on app output, weather data, device sensor data, third-party service availability, or store account issues.

12. Changes to the app or these Terms

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of Wind Call or update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of Wind Call after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
